  • Photos and audio files you upload

We use the collected information to:

  • Provide and operate your personal timeline
  • Store and serve your uploaded media
  • Display your timeline to authorized shared viewers
  • Send essential service notifications
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve the Service

3. Sharing & Visibility

By default, your timeline is private and visible only to you. If you choose to enable sharing:

  • Public timelines: Any Life Map user can view your timeline entries and media if your timeline is set to public.
  • Followers-only timelines: Only approved followers can view your timeline if set to followers-only.
  • Viewers see your entries, locations, and media. They do not see your email address or follower list.
  • You can disable sharing at any time by switching to private mode.

4. Media Storage

Uploaded photos and audio are stored securely on our cloud infrastructure. Media files are accessible via unique, unguessable URLs. When you delete media or your account, files are permanently removed from our storage systems.

5. Information Sharing with Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We share your information only:

  • With viewers you have explicitly authorized via sharing settings
  • With service providers who help us operate the platform (e.g., hosting, authentication)
  • As required by law or to protect our legal rights

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. All shared timeline access requires authentication and is subject to rate limiting.
