These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Life Map website and services ("Service"). By using our Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Life Map

Life Map is a personal timeline and memory preservation platform. Our service enables you to create, organize, and visualize the events and milestones of your life. You can attach photos, audio, and other media to your timeline entries to build a lasting record of your journey.

2. Use of Service

You agree to use Life Map in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any activities that occur under your account.

3. Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you upload to Life Map, including text, photos, and audio ("Your Content"). By uploading content, you grant Life Map a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and any authorized viewers you designate.

4. Sharing & Shared Timelines

Life Map allows you to share your timeline with others. When you enable sharing, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Public timelines: If you set your timeline visibility to public, any Life Map user can view your timeline entries and media.
• Followers-only timelines: If you set your timeline visibility to followers, only users you have approved as followers may view your timeline.
• Viewers can see your timeline entries including text, locations, and attached media. They cannot edit, delete, or download your content through the Service.
• You can revoke access at any time by switching your timeline to private mode or removing followers.
• Life Map is not responsible for content that viewers may screenshot, record, or otherwise capture outside the platform.

5. Privacy and Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Life Map, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

Life Map and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Life Map and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your Content remains yours.

7. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your timeline data and uploaded media will be permanently removed from our systems within a reasonable timeframe. Shared links will immediately become inaccessible.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes to these Terms.
